Chad Mueller, owner of two prominent gyms - Maryville Muay Thai and All Saints Muay Thai (St. Peters MO) stopped in to spend the morning with Gateway CEO. While this was the first time that Chad has presented to our class, his experience, authenticity and candidness was welcomed by our students. There’s nothing quite like launching a Friday morning watching a fighter make their professional debut on Facebook while their coach is choosing to spend their morning with our program. So cool!! But so much more sharing for the rest of the morning.

Chad encouraged students to - START. That was his most important step when he had limited funds and living at home, but with a passion in his heart to train others in a sport that he loved. Building your own path is what each person gets to do as they take next steps after high school. He had so many insights for our students and will definitely carry into their individual businesses. Here is some of the real deal into business that Chad shared -
- You have to start. Start small and make your mistakes early while it's a cheap learning experience!
- Business is your freedom. It takes time to build, but the end result allows you to love what you do and still create the life that you want.
- #1 rule in business - Be a good person. Treat people with respect. Do the right thing.
- Marketing!!! You should love marketing if you want to last in business. Develop your brand. Test until you perfect high converting ads on Facebook and other online providers.
- You can learn SO much on YouTube. If you don't know how to do it - find the resources to teach you. Never stop learning.
- If you want something badly enough, you will figure it out. Don't overthink. Fail forward.
- The right CRM for your business is a GAME CHANGER. Profit First also helped manage the money side so that business and taxes can be managed without all the stress.

The students took away so much from this morning. Thank you for joining our Gateway CEO family! We look forward to seeing Chad in the spring as he helps bring branding and video to our students!
