Round 1 and Round 2 with Dallas Amsden. He's a podcaster, multi-media expert, keynote speaker and part of the Gateway CEO family. With students progressing from their 30 second pitch to their 3 minute pitch, the visit last week was really on how to hook your audience within the first minute of your presentation. There are so many attributes that come together for effective delivery. With the class being further along in their pitches, Dallas was more than willing to spend time with each student in really determining strategy to launch their presentation. I'm so excited to watch this progress continue as a simple business idea, then a marketing plan, an elevator pitch and now how to impress judges as students compete locally develops. Thank you Dallas for your years of knowledge and expertise that our students are able to walk away with a different level of confidence. You are amazing and we thank you!!
