About Me

Hello! My name is Berenice Mauricio and I'm a Senior at Collinsville High School. I was in the FBLA Business Professional Club during my sophomore year and currently in the Art Club. In my free time, I like to draw and listen to music. After high school, I plan on going to SWIC to do graphic design. I have loved art since I was little and used to say I wanted to be an art teacher, but as time passed, that changed. I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do, but I did know that I wanted something that I knew I would love and won't get tired of. During my Freshman and Sophomore year is when I discovered graphic design. I wanted to learn how to design art through the screen and have the ability to make my ideas come to life. I started self teaching myself on how to do t-shirt printing and I fell in love with it and wanted to learn more. I decided to take the CEO program because I think it's a really good opportunity to learn how to start my business and have an idea on what to expect along my journey. I also want to learn how to grow my business and how to gain clients and how to deal with different types of clients. This is something I want to take and learn from because there are a lot of business owners out there who went in blindly without an idea of the things that may come their way and struggle to keep growing their business. Taking this opportunity to be a part of the CEO program is something I will never regret.
