As shared with an earlier post, the Gateway CEO student body was invited to attend the Leadership Council Southwestern Illinois with part of the agreement being that they would assist with set up and tear down related to the chairs. They jumped in with the opportunity, also knowing they were going to be in a room with many entrepreneurs and business leaders. We had 11 students come out and enjoyed an evening of networking (several students found their way into conversations), pictures with IndyCar trophies, reconnecting with our Gateway CEO Alumni Hunter Fridley as he shot photos for the evening, an entire discussion about table etiquette as they had their meals, tons of team bonding, and hopefully a Zoom later in April with Scott Redler, one of the founders of Freddy's. And from past experience, they were able to handle almost 500 chairs very quickly as an army of 11. Gateway CEO is all about experience and this was an amazing one!

Thank you to Andrea Gionvando, Susan Chapman and Kyle Anderson for coordinating this for our students! We loved being part of your special evening!
